Thank you for vising my page
Today i would like to share with you this thought
I am the Lord, I change not
For I am the Lord, I change not: therefore, ye sons of Jacob are not consumed. MALACHI 3:6
In this verse of scripture, we find God making a bold and powerful statement concerning His own nature, and that is He is a God that does not change.
A thing that does not change in the contents of this scripture gives the idea of steadfast, stable, sure, unmoving, without confusion, reliable.
Almost all things in the world goes through change, including mankind. We go through changes in our behaviour, judgements, principles, understanding, knowledge, what we see as right or wrong, who or what we like or don’t like, and the list goes on
But with God there is No change, His word to mankind remains the same, His Holiness, righteousness, standard, notice I said standard not standards, with mankind there are standards, this is evident in the hundreds of different standards we see in churches all around the world today. But God only has one standard for His people it’s called HOLINESS, this is the standard of God is no other
But as He which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation: Because it is written be ye holy for I am holy. 1 Peter 1:15-16
Follow peace with all men, and holiness without which no man shall see the Lord. Hebrews 12:14
And they shall call them, The holy people, The redeemed of the Lord: and thou shalt be called, Sought out, A city not forsaken. Isaiah 62:12
The fact that God don’t change is our guide to keep us from false teaching, churches, pastors, standards, understanding.
This is what the text means, when is says “ therefore ye sons of Jacob are not consumed, because God changes not therefore His word changes not and as the children of God we should not be consumed by false doctrine, preacher’s, beliefs, churches, standards etc, which with man changes often
God’s word to man has never changed His message has always been the same. REPENT and turn from your sinful ways.
BEGINNING OF SORROWS
For nation shall rise against nation, and Kingdom against Kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places. All these are the beginning of sorrows. MATTHEW 24:7-8
Many people in and out of the church are asking, has the world experiences the pandemic called Coronavirus, What does this mean? Is this of God, is it a punishment? Etc
In my view yes this is of God, and its only the beginning, worse and much worse is yet to come, Never in our life time have we seen a virus, effect the whole world in the way this coronavirus is, This virus has all but shut down the world. world travel shut down, countries shut down, sport world wide shut down, clubs world wide shut down, pubs world wide shut down, business’s world wide closing their doors, places of worship world wide shut so now those people looking for a church, or to be baptized or a preacher to tell them the word of God will find that church at the end of there road shut, people world wide unable to attend their place of employment, wedding’s world wide put on hold, friends and families world wide kept apart, people world wide being told not to leave their houses. Etc etc
Notice all this is on a worldwide scale, what does all of this mean? Its God’s way of slowing the world down, in His mercy giving mankind a chance to step back from being busy in sin and disobedience and consider their ways and humble themselves and repent, For it is not the will of God that any soul should perish. 2 Peter 3:9, So much so, God loves us and does NOT want people to perish that He sent His son to die for our sins John 3:15-19
For Hundreds of years Preachers have been warning about the End times and the judgement of God to come, and for hundreds of years people have dismissed, laugh, and mock the preaching of the Gospel. But it is written in the scriptures “ my word shall not return to me void” Isaiah 55:11
Jesus “said nation shall rise against nation” WE HAVE THAT
“Kingdom against Kingdom WE HAVE THAT
Famines, pestilences, and earthquakes WE HAVE THAT
All of these things Jesus said are not the End but the beginning of sorrows
We are in the end times for sure, and things are going to unfold very fast indeed, already many of the shops that remain open are taking card ONLY no cash, is this world virus all part of the prophecy in Revelation 13:16-17 that tell us about no one being able to buy without name or NUMBER of the beast
Dear Reader if you have not yet given your life to the Lord, then I encourage you with all my heart save yourself and obey the word of God, Repent and be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins and you too shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. Acts 2;38
And if you are already saved I encourage you lay aside every weight and sin and set your mind to prayer, and make sure you have oil in your lamp,
For it is written BEHOLD I COME QUICKLY AND MY REWARD IS WITH ME
Revelation 22:12
SPEAKING IN TONGUES IN SCRIPTURE
He that believeth on Me, as the scriptures hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living waters. But this spake He of the Spirit which they that believe on Him should receive: for the Holy Ghost was not yet given: because that Jesus was not glorified
Two questions I have been asked many a time throughout my ministry. And they are 1 Why is the scriptures so hard to understand?
2, why did God choose speaking in tongues as a sign of the Holy Ghost/Spirit?
Today as you come into the Pastor office let us sit and address the second question about speaking in tongues. Has the first question is quite easy to answer, simply put the scriptures are not hard to understand they are impossible to understand without God opening the reader’s understanding that they might understand the scriptures. Luke 24:45, but maybe I talk about another time.
Speaking in Tongues in scriptures has always accompanied the infilling of the Holy Ghost/Spirit, Why did God choose speaking in tongues as a sign of the infilling of His spirit? Because He can, His is God, is the answer a Pastor, teacher Leader will give if they don’t know the answer. But I’m sure your not content with that answer so let us turn to the scriptures, in Genesis 11: 1-9 we find the story of the tower of Babel, in which the LORD makes a revelation statement about people who all speak the same language.
And the LORD said, Behold the people is ONE, and they have all ONE language: and this they begin to do: AND NOW nothing will be restrained from them, which they have imagined to do. Genesis 11:6
Throughout the scriptures, God has always made it clear that His people are to be as one and that we are all to speak the same thing.
1 Corinthians 10:17
1 Corinthians 1:10And we know. What God thinks about people who all speak the same thing. nothing will be restrained from them. I believe that GOD chose Speaking in Tongues to let us know them which are in Christ, filled with His Spirit
who walk according to the Spirit, there is No restraint to what His people can do, PRAISE GOD No battle His people can’t win, no mountain His people can’t climb, tongues is to let the people of God know that through the Spirit we can reach up to God, subdue the flesh and get the victory over Sin in our life and live Holy before God.
You see God always has a reason and cause to all that He does or say, throughout the scriptures, God has always promised to bring us to the place where there is No restraint to what His People can do.

THERE IS NO RESTRAINT TO THE LORD Today I would like to share with you my thoughts on a heart-warming and faith building, scripture taken from 1 Samuel chapter 13 and chapter 14.
It, involves, fear, weakness, courage, trust, discouragement, boldness, overwhelming odds, victory, battle, cunning to name just a few.
In the chapters named above, we find the nation of Israel under the kingship and leadership of Saul, in fear due to the overwhelming odds of the Philistines army that had gathered against them for battle in a place called Michmash.
Verse 5 of chapter 13 tells us the size of this Philistines army.
And the Philistines gathered themselves together to fight with Israel, thirty thousand chariots, and six thousand horsemen, and people as the sand which is on the seashore in multitude; and they came up, and pitched in Michmash, eastward from Beth-a-ven.
In verse 6 of the same chapter 13 we read of Israel response.
When the men of Israel saw that they were in a strait (for the people were distressed,) then the people did hide themselves in caves, and in thickets, and in the rocks, and in high places, and in pits.
Here we have Israel a great nation before God, who have seen the hand and glory of the Lord, in giving them the victory over their enemy’s many times before. And therefore, should be in no doubt, that God can and will fight for them. (If God be for us who can be against us) Romans 8 v31
Surely Israel knows that in God is their victory and not in the might of man or their army. But instead, we see Israel not stepping out in faith knowing that God goes before them into battle, but hiding themselves in caves, thickets, rocks and pits.
What has brought about this great fear and weakness and discouragement on the part of Israel?
I believe the answer to this question is found in chapter 13 v 5 and 6 as stated above, verse 5 tells us about the size of the Philistines army, and a mighty host it was
Like the sand on the seashore for people. WOW!!!
Is this a time to be afraid? Or is this the time to look to the Hills from whence cometh my help. Remember Psalms 121 (go have a quick read and see where I’m coming from).
Verse 6 say’s “When the men of Israel SAW”. It was at this point that the men of Israel began to fear
Israel turned their focus to the size of the army before them and the overwhelming odds that were against them and were fearful and took their eyes off the greatness of the God they serve.
Israel saw the 36,000 chariots as greater than their God, the 6,000 horsemen as greater than their God, and the people like the sand on the seashore as greater than their God.
How often do many children of God take this approach when faced with challenging situations?
Seeing their troubles as greater than their God, the mountain in their life as greater than their God, the rough seas in their life as greater than their God, and their family problems as greater than their God. Etc. etc.
If you happen to find yourself in the position where what you’re going through seems to you, greater than the God you serve, then be sure that fear, weakness, and discouragement, and even depression will soon follow and you too, just like Israel will find yourself hiding in caves, and rocks and pits. This also is closely followed by prayerlessness, lack of church attendance, loss of faith, loss of hope, lack of thanksgiving, and before you know it your life would be overrun by your own fears, weakness, worries, and doubts, (THIS IS NOT GOD’S WILL FOR YOUR LIFE)
was too. Like the sand on the seashore for people. WOW!!!

BUT HEY!!!!! Listen up
There was one man in Israel whose name was Jonathan, he was the Son of King Saul, and he did not focus on the 36,000 chariots or the 6,000 horsemen nor the people like the sand on the seashore
But focus on the Greatness of his God, and saw God Greater than the challenging situation that was before him. How about you? Do you see God as Greater than your troubles, trials, problems, fears, and weaknesses?
Remember the word found in 2 Corinthians 12:9
My grace is sufficient for thee; for my strength is made perfect in weakness.
And also is there not a word found in 1 Samuel 17:47
That the Lord saveth not with sword and spear; for the battle is the Lords
Jonathan kept his eyes on his God and His greatness to save, (As should we) so his response to the mighty host of the Philistines army, was NOT one of fear, doubt, and discouragement. But let us read his response which is found in 1 Samuel 14:6
And Jonathan said to the young man that bear his armor, Come, and lets us go over unto the garrison of these uncircumcised; it may be that the Lord will work for us; for there is no restraint to the Lord to save by many or by few.
What a wonderful heart-warming, spirit uplifting, faith-building responds Jonathan gave to a very challenging situation in his life “(there is no restraint to the Lord)” And has a result of Jonathan putting his trust/faith in God over and above his circumstances. God gave Jonathan a GREAT VICTORY over the circumstances’ he found himself in.
What a great lesson we can learn from this scripture of truth, not to focus on the mountains in our life, but to focus on the God, to whom that mountain must obey. (Amen.)
Jonathan came out of that battle against such a mighty host without even a scratch. (Praise God)
Be encouraged my dear reader, no matter what you’re going through let God be your point of focus, and you too will know there is no restraint to the Lord.
I PRAY THIS PRAYER FOR YOU.
FARTHER IN THE NAME OF YOUR SON JESUS CHRIST, I THANK-YOU FOR THIS SOUL AND VISITOR TO THIS WEBSITE. I PRAY THAT WHATEVER MOUNTIAN THEY MAY NEED TO CLIMB OR WHATEVER TRAIL THEY NEED TO OVERCOME, OR WHATEVER PROBLEM THEY MAY NEED TO SOLVE. THAT THEY WILL FOCUS ON YOUR GRACE, MERCY, AND YOU’RE POWER TO TURN DEFEAT INTO VICTORY, AND WEAKNESS INTO STRENGTH, AND SORROW INTO JOY. I PRAY THAT THEY WILL EXPERIENCE AND KNOW FOR THEMSELVES THAT
THERE IS NO RESTRAINT TO THE LORD. IN the Name of Jesus Christ AMEN.
